Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Officer will play a vital role in managing the hospital’s financial operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors and suppliers. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MBBS) degree from an accredited institution
  • Fellowship in a relevant subspecialty from either the National Postgraduate Medical College (NPMC) or the West African College of Surgeons (WACS)
  • Foreign-trained specialists must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • A valid practicing license.
  • NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter for Nigerian citizens
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex medical data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex medical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.
